I get asked this question all the time, Teddie is my real name. I was named after my dad, Ted. :) Having a unique name comes with many funny stories, from people thinking I am a boy when they see only my name - to then being shocked when they see me in person. But my favorite story is being called Teddie-2-legs by my soon to be in-laws at the time because I shared a name with the family dog!

I believe that we live on a beautiful planet and that it is important more than ever to do our part to keep our planet healthy. This is why I have partnered with OneTreePlanted and have pledged to plant one tree with every session behind my camera. Along with planting one tree for each session, all prints ordered through me will be printed on 100% recycled paper or bamboo, as well as one tree being planted with each print order.

I am a firm believer in love. Everyone has their own unique love story and has a different love language. Love is nurturing, messy, beautiful, uplifting, healing, and so special, I want to capture as many love stories as I can! Love can be captured in so many ways, not just on a wedding day or between a couple. As a mom, I know that my daughter loves me based on her actions since she is unable to say the words yet. With photographing kids I can capture how they show you they love you, before they can tell you.
